Visiting the Museum

Hours: The Museum is open Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. year 'round; (Saturdays from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Sundays 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. March through November). The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Rates: Admission to the Museum is $4 for adults; $3 for senior citizens over 60 and AAA members; and $1 for children ages 6 to 16. There is no admission fee for Museum members, Orange County schoolchildren and children under 6.

Once again the James Madison Museum in participating in the Time Travelers program for students. For more information on this wonderful program visit their website. All Time Traveler students will be elligible for a 50 cent admission price to the Museum.

Group Tours: Tours are available for groups of all ages. Please call the Museum at (540)672-1776 weekdays between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. for additional information.
